Look do Dia – SPFW Primeiro Dia

  9. Buenos Aires: Barrios City

Buenos Aires is one of South America’s most interesting tourist destinations. (One of the largest in Argentina) is most often the first place tourists will see in Argentina before heading to popular destinations like Patagonia, but the wise will stay here and take in the many delightful museums and towers. The arts are housed in gorgeous old colonial buildings that stretch across the city limits, or “barrios.” From the must-see barrios, visit La Boca, the most colorful neighborhood in Buenos Aires and where it is located. Of the fun, the Caminito Street Museum , a wonderful pedestrian zone, and open-air museum, popular for its brightly colored houses, amusing sculptures, and outdoor tango lessons, modern Recoleta is another must and is where you’ll find the Recoleta Cemetery. The elaborate cemetery contains the remains of famous Argentines such as Eva (Evita) Perón, along with numerous parks, museums, art galleries, cafés and boutiques. Other districts to explore if time permits , Palermo and Belgrano have wide streets. and splendid mansions, and in the delightful downtown Plaza de Mayo .

  10. Thailand caretaker prime minister, Yingluck Shinawatra, faces impeachment and criminal investigations by the National Anti-Corruption Commission for her involvement in the country’s rice subsidy scheme. Besides the probes, Yingluck and her interim government are also facing pressure from farmers who participated in the program but have not been paid for their rice harvests. The rice subsidiy program guaranteed farmers a fixed price of about $500 per ton of white rice, which is about 40 percent higher than the global market rate. The subsidy program, however, was followed by a huge loss, projected to exceed tens of millions of dollars, and a vast amount of rice has been left unsold and rotting in warehouses across the country.
